Reset is a slow flow and deep stretch: This fusion class uses gentle vinyasa movements and deep stretch techniques to press reset on your nervous system. We spend the first portion of class exploring a slow flow practice to create space for our body and mind. Midway through class, we switch gears to a juicy deep stretch followed by a sound healing savasana. Though we often believe we must ‘work’ to increase our flexibility, we can achieve more opening by softening and relaxing than forcing our way through strong, dynamic asana practice.

Sometimes as photographers, we need a break from work or life or even our normal photography. Sometimes we get into a creative rut and need a way out. Sometimes we need someone or something to inspire us. The Moniker Photo Walk is a series of quarterly events where we gather photographers from across San Diego to enjoy coffee and create opportunities for conversations, networking, community, and creating our next favorite photos. Each attendee will receive a free drink from Moniker Coffee Co. at The Craft Creamery.

The David’s Harp Foundation is one of San Diego’s most impactful nonprofit organizations empowering opportunity youth—many as young as age 13 who are living in homeless shelters, foster care and the juvenile justice system—to achieve academic success through music education and media production training.

On Thursday, May 11th, David’s Harp Foundation (DHF) welcomes San Diegans as well as an audience around the globe to participate in the official launch party of its new, student-founded virtual event production business, Red Dot Streaming. Developed by two 19-year-old students in partnership with Moniker Warehouse event venue in East Village, Red Dot’s inspiring story of innovation and entrepreneurship empowers the voices of opportunity youth that need to be heard, and in the process addresses educational inequity, mass incarceration, and homelessness in the San Diego community.

To celebrate the launch of Red Dot at Moniker Warehouse and showcase the venue’s new broadcast facilities and design-forward renovations, Moniker Group and David’s Harp Foundation will host Shua on Wednesday, May 11th from 6:30 to 8 p.m. This community-oriented event is open to the public and free-to-attend at Moniker Warehouse located at 705 16th St, San Diego, CA 92101.

Maylynne Rayos, “Move with May”, is a San Diego-based group fitness instructor who hosts community fitness events throughout the county, as well as teaches corporate classes, both virtually and in person. May specializes in barre, HIIT, spin, and strength/sculpt. She has taught for companies like Yelp, Slalom, Hyatt, and more. Additionally, May teaches for different brands, such as Alo, Fabletics, Athleta, and Allbirds.
